The programmes run under Matlab 7.11.0 (R2010b). The programme "Odd2011.m" calculates one-dimensional eigenvalues for odd-numbered (even symmetry) states by collocation with expansion on even Fourier components (cosines of increasing order). The programme "Even2011.m" calculates for even numbered (odd symmetry) states by expanding on sines of increasing order. The programme "Brok2011.m" calculates diminished eigenvalues for even numbered states by relaxing to 4pi periodicity. The present programmes were originally written up until 1997 in a DOS edition of Matlab. However, they run under R2010b/7.11 after a minor change.
